About Us
The Honeydew Music Fund was created in memory of Leticia Ruiz. Leticia, also known by her stage name Honeydew, was a student of School of Rock and had an immense passion for, not only music, but performance and songwriting.
Leticia wrote and produced her own music as an expression of her distinctive voice. It is our goal to provide opportunities to music students who show an interest in live performance and creating their own original music. We hope to support creative and talented songwriters and musicians in the way Leticia’s talents were nurtured.
Our Mission
Our mission is to help young musicians with increased opportunities to grow in their skills, finding their voice in their craft, growing their stage presence, confidence as a performer, and cultivate skills in original music creation.
